About us

Vêtue d’Art (Dress in Art) is a fashion brand founded by Sabrina Onana, a 24-year-old sociologist, filmmaker, and photographer who decided to share her passion for art and research through fashion.

She thought of Vêtue d’Art as the first fashion brand that aims to turn your wardrobe into a museum! Here at Vêtue d’Art, we want to democratize beauty, knowledge, and culture through fashion.

We mostly promote afro-diasporic and black (presence in) art. This is because, as an Italian-Cameroonian self-taught artist and designer, our CEO and founder is fully committed to sharing her afro-centered passion for art.

However, art and the human experience are universal at their very core: this is why, at Vêtue d’Art, we strongly believe that blackness (i.e. Black art, culture, and presence in artworks) can also be both universal and valued in its uniqueness.

NOTA BENE : We live today in a world that overproduces and this is damaging our planet. Here at Vêtue d’Art we want to participate in ending this unhealthy process. Therefore, our products are made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver them to you.

Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions and contributing to the advancement of environmental healing!
